Future Consumer Investor Community is an informal network of 150+ active angel investors, working alongside a significant number of institutional investors, family offices and VCs globally. Together, our members represent an investment appetite of £5m+.We support UK-based, SEIS/EIS-eligible startups that are redefining the future of fashion, beauty, lifestyle and consumer experiences. Do I need to be a qualified investor to join?

Yes, you must be a qualified investor under UK law. This means you need to meet the FCA’s criteria for self-certification as a high-net-worth individual or sophisticated investor.

Is my status made public?

No, your  status will remain private within the community. We do not publicise the identities of members or their investments unless you choose to share that information.

How often will I receive deal flow?

We aim to provide deal flow at least once a month, including an overview of each opportunity, founder pitches, and access to deal rooms where you can review financials and due diligence materials.

Is Future Consumer Investor Community a syndicate?

No, we are not a syndicate. Each investor makes their own independent decisions about which deals to invest in. There’s no collective pooling of funds or obligations to invest.

Is there a minimum investment amount?

No, there are no minimum investment commitments. You decide when and how much to invest based on the deal flow we provide and your investments are one-to-one with the company not through Future Consumer Community.

What kind of startups and sectors do you focus on?

We focus on startups in consumer and consumer tech. These companies are innovating in areas that disrupt how people shop, engage with culture, and live. Most of our deals are for companies at the Seed to Series A stage.

How are the deals vetted?

We ensure that all startups shared with the community have undergone our light due diligence. However, each investor is responsible for conducting their own due diligence before making an investment. We will share any existing due diligence documents to assist with your evaluation.

What is the process for reviewing deals?

Each month, we send an email with the latest deal flow. You can review the deals at your convenience and engage directly with the startups if interested.

Will a formal structure be introduced in the future?

We are considering more formal structures like an SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) in the future. For now, the community remains informal, with independent decision-making and no collective fund or syndicate rules.
