Opportunity & Problem
The skincare system is failing skin – and failing the planet. Brands are falling over each other to create ever-more potent synthetic formulas, fuelling a rise in secondary skin concerns. 1 in 5 people now suffer with rosacea, the term ‘skin barrier’ has 9bn views on TikTok, and 76% of British women define their skin as ‘sensitive’.
Pillaging the Earth for clean, green, organic ingredients is no longer a tenable, sustainable alternative. Not only do they fall short on stability, efficacy and innovation, they’re also destroying the planet.
The way we make skincare has to change. And it needs to do better. For our skin – and the planet.
Solution
Biotechnology is exploding. Valued at £839bn and growing at 13% - it’s set to change the way we make skincare forever. With unprecedented levels of efficacy, heightened biocompatibility, and truly sustainable production methods, biotech is heralding a new dawn for beauty.
REOME combines a distinctive, premium brand experience with proprietary biotech; with first-to-market active ingredients sourced through our exclusive lab partnerships. REOME is leading the market, re-writing the narrative of skincare for a biotech-powered future.
Having secured a first-access partnership with Debut, the precision biotech lab backed by L’Oreal and L. Catterton, REOME has developed 2 ground-breaking formulas with first-to-market biotech actives, launching September 2024 and February 2025. REOME owns the formula IP and associated trademarks and funds independent clinical testing to add weight to the safety and efficacy of its skin-transforming formulations.
Early Success
REOME has achieved incredible traction, organic growth and unparalleled retail partnerships despite its relative infancy, just 12 months into trading. Its flagship product, Active Recovery Broth (£110), is ranked No. 8 out of 80 luxury serums YTD2023 at Space NK - particularly noteworthy, given REOME is pre-funding and pre-marketing. Following an exclusive partnership with Space NK, REOME is now a sell-out success at Liberty and Moda Operandi and select luxury stores in UK and Europe.
Fans include: Gucci Westman, Athena Calderone, Alex Eagle, Sharmadean Reid, Shini Park, Linda Tol.
Growth Opportunity
Luxury skincare is booming. Valued at £22bn with a CAGR of 14%, it remains beauty’s biggest untapped opportunity. REOME is poised for exponential growth, with 21 skus developed, across the next 36 months and a world-class distribution network, and scaling DTC to 25%. Launching at MECCA in Q1 2025 and entering the GCC markets via the distributors that ushered Bader and Tilbury into the region, REOME is perfectly placed to become the next global mega-brand.
Funds will fuel product, people, and place, with digital marketing and strategic growth initiatives in Europe, Australia, and North America. REOME represents a unique investment opportunity – a luxury pure player with margins to match - with tremendous potential for accelerated returns.
